So you’ve been thinking about it; wondering what it’s like at church on a Sunday morning... But churches can be so different, sometimes! To help you out, we thought we’d share what Sunday mornings look like at Miami Whitewater… and hopefully you’ll join us!
Casual – Come as you are. Don’t feel like you have to dress up on our account! Just come comfortable with an open heart to hear from God.
Breakfast, anyone? – We know Sunday mornings can be the TOUGHEST time to get everyone in your family awake, dressed, fed, and in the car to go to church, and that’s not even adding the stress of getting there on time! We don’t want church to be a stressful
addition to your day, so we’re opening up the breakfast cafe for you and your family! Arrive at your leisure before the service and enjoy fresh fruit, pastries, fresh coffee, juice, and other snacks with the relief of one less thing on your list to stress about!!!
Relevant Teaching – Our relationship with Christ is not something we use on Sunday mornings at church then put away in the closet for the week until the next Sunday… NOPE! It’s something that we carry out each day in our homes, in our work places, in our community, with
our families and with total strangers… and sometimes it’s not easy! Miami Whitewater exists to be a source of relevant teaching to challenge you right now, encourage you, and help you grow in your relationship with Jesus. Both services on Sunday morning have the same teaching/message.
Adding some Flavor! – Worship music styles can totally change the environment and focus of worship… Our biggest desire is for you to connect with God – period. With you in mind, we offer two services with different worship styles to help you find an environment of worship that
you’re comfortable with… For some, it’s singing hymns that you’ve grown up with, appreciating the structure and flow of a traditional-like service… If that’s you, then the 9:30 am service on Sunday mornings will be a great match for you! If you connect with worship songs that you hear
on the radio, or if you like to worship along to CDs by artists like Chris Tomlin, Michael W. Smith, Vineyard worship, Matt Redman, or others, you’ll love to worship with us at our Contemporary Worship service at 11 am.
Community – There’s something comforting about knowing that we’re not alone; that we have people we can count on for encouragement, affirmation, accountability, and help. Miami Whitewater is full of friendly people who are looking for connection and fellowship. If you’re looking for
something more than just a place to worship then Miami Whitewater is the place for you!
We hope you’ll give Miami Whitewater a try and find out for yourself – and we look forward to meeting you!
