Life-Phase Communities
There’s something precious about being with people like ‘you’; people who are facing the same things
in life that you are, who understand the cultural pressures, life choices, and more that you’re facing
right now. Miami Whitewater has custom small groups / bible study groups for each phase of life, from
childhood through adult-hood… We call them ‘Life-Phase Communities’, and here’s just a few that
are thriving at MW right now:

Children’s Ministry
- Nursery (Infants – 2 years of age)
- Kids Church (for kids ages 3-12)
Strive Youth Ministry
Young Adults Small Group
- Tuesday nights during Connexion
- Special events usually once a month
Silver Saints – Senior Group and Bible Study
- Thursday mornings at 11:30 am
United Methodist Women
- Every 2nd Monday of the month
- Dinner at 6:30 pm
- Study starts at 7:00 pm
Men’s Bible Study
- Thursday nights at 7:00 pm @ the Farmhouse
- Breakfast the first Sat of the month @ the Farmhouse

SERVICE Groups
We want to encourage you to put your faith into action! Serving others is a rewarding way to ‘give back’,
and each time you’ll walk away feeling personally encouraged, too!!! Below are just a few of the valuable a
nd fun service groups that we invite you to get plugged into!
Outreach
- Special events are scheduled each month for us to serve the community and share the love of Christ through random acts of kindness.

- Meet practical needs of your neighbors (food baskets, transportation, medication assistance, household items, and more)
First Fruits Ministry
- A NEW Ministry to work part of the land at MW to produce crops and products to assist Helping Hands… People with a background in agriculture or horticulture are encouraged to take part!

Sunday Morning Ministries
A lot of people work to make Sunday mornings an open, inviting opportunity for you to connect with God.
If you want to join in the fun of Sunday mornings but aren’t sure where to get plugged in, here are a few
ministry groups that would love for you to consider joining them!
Praise Band (11 am service)
- We exist to offer back our God-given musical gifts to our Creator through worship… Our contemporary worship team strives to keep worship relevant, passionate, and continually directing the focus and attention solely to God. If you have a gift in music, please join with us! Contact Rebecca Palmatier for details. Practice is every Thursday night from 7-9 pm
Multimedia Team
Creative Team (11 am service)
- We work to incorporate creative means of graphic design and visual art to help reinforce the message and theme of the 11 am service.
Worship Design Team (9:30 am service)
- We work to identify areas of improvement and outline procedures and practices to keep the ‘behind the scenes’ function of the service fluid.
DECO Team
- We work together with the Pastor, the Creative, and Worship Design Teams to design and decorate the stage and outlying areas.
MW Choir (9:30 am Service)
